Nice Web site! Was good to see you @ Peg's 50 couple of weeks ago. I had no idea that you had progressed to the extent that is evidenced on this web site. GO MONTY!!You've come a long way from (oval tunnel) and benches on Mosholu Pkwy but I think we all knew that would happen.
Let us know when you're up this way. ( the Mulligans are at it again).I just bought a new 12 string ovation & amp &Johns got a nice new Fender & enormous amps, we're practicing for Cathy's house on Thanksgiving (but we're still not as good as her). But the singing Mulligan sisters will be in rare form to be sure). Let us know when you're upstate Putnam, Dutchess etc.
Oh yeah does anyone still get together day after thanksgiving anymore to play?(Twelve Pins Keenans remember?) Let me know. Good Luck Monty I am proud of you.

Hey Mr D.,
Hope all is well with you. Just got back from a wedding in Throggs Neck and I met a lady by the name of Terri Miller. She’s a retired 44 cop and she says she remembers working with you, had nothing but the best to say about you. I told her about your website and she says she would like to go to one of your shows soon. On a side note , I loved the CDS that you gave to me. Track#7 on Montgomery Delaney 23809 is the best. I put that on sometimes after a hard night of work along with a cold beer and it reminds me why all of the bullshit is worth it. It’s a tough ass job …… but I wouldn’t trade for all the money in the world. Thanks for everything !!,talk to you soon!

I was just browsing the net looking up some of the Delaney Clan and seeing what they are up to as well as making myself feel good at the same time - I`m going to listen to your song as well . Not that you would be interested I am also a musician and vocalist (here in Brisbane Australia ) In what we label here as country Rock / Country rock`n`roll . so you see we Delaney`s are all alike in some ways, all the best for your future as well as your current CD.

Hey Mr.Delaney. First I just want to congratulate you on the success of your music and law career.I was very excited to have found this website and have the chance to hear some of your great music! Son of a son is my favorite. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank you for your inspiration and guidance as a teacher. When I first met you more than 15 years ago in Salesain high school in New Rochelle, I was never really excited about going to school. You showed me that learning can be both exciting and fun.You have also been an inspiration for me to go after my dreams. You were also my biggerst inspiration to become a NYC police officer.Although I am not assigned to the 44, I still patrol many of the same streets that you once did, and for that I am proud!I guess "thank you" is not a big enough word to express my gratitude but for now it will have to do. Im looking foward to catching one of your shows soon. Till then.. "May the road rise to meet you"!God Bless. John Gallagher

Hi, Monty -
Just saw the notice for last Friday's concert in Lake Katonah - wish we could have been there! Let me know where you're playing next. This coming Saturday we're presenting Sloan Wainwright at the Good Folk... Did you get wind of the Dave on Dave CD by David Massengill, a tribute to Dave Van Ronk? I heard a few cuts from it on the radio and it blew me away!
Hope to catch you around one of these days.
Peace be with you...

Hello Montgomery! I was a fly on the wall at the John Street jam a few weeks ago and just wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed your performance there. Even with a scratchy throat, you were so poignant and entertaining. It was a great piece of showmanship for you to sing likw that while you were obviously so ill. I do hope that you are feeling better and I am looking forward to catching you at the Colony in Woodstock next month.
You are a trooper!
